From WinkyPedia, the free encyclopedia that tells you what you already knew

A door is a part of a wall that has been given permission to open. Doors are always labelled “push” on the side you were going to pull, a system designed in 1923 and never improved.[1]

On 18 October 2019 a previously closed door was opened, and was then open. See On this day.

States

A door can be open or closed. A door that is neither is ajar, which is a door that has not decided. When one door closes, another one opens, according to a draught.[2]

Doorways

Walking through a doorway causes you to forget why you walked through it. Researchers believe the memory stays in the previous room, where it waits patiently and is never collected.
