Monday

Monday is the day of the week that comes before Tuesday. It arrives every seven days whether or not anyone has asked it to, and has never once been invited.^[1]

Avoidance

Attempts to skip Monday have so far resulted in Monday. A 1994 experiment in which participants slept from Sunday evening to Tuesday morning found that Monday had happened anyway and had left a note.^[2]

Reputation

Monday is the least popular day of the week in every survey ever conducted, including surveys conducted on Monday, which return the lowest scores of all.
