A square is a shape with four equal sides and four right angles. It has never been wrong, which makes it unpopular at parties. Unlike a circle, it has corners, and is proud of them.[1]

Sides

A square with sides of unequal length is a rectangle, which is a square that has made some choices. Squares do not talk about rectangles.

Being square

Calling a person “square” means they are dull and conventional. Squares consider this a compliment, and have had it framed, in a square frame.[2]
