From WinkyPedia, the free encyclopedia that tells you what you already knew

An ocean is a puddle that got planning permission and then kept going for several thousand miles. Oceans cover most of the Earth, which makes the land the exception, not the rule.[1]

Depth

The ocean is very deep. More is known about the surface of the Moon than about the bottom of the ocean, mostly because the Moon is easier to see and does not get your sleeves wet.

Waves

Waves are bits of ocean that are briefly higher than the rest of the ocean. They come in sets of seven, except when you are counting, when they come in sets of whatever will get you wet.[2]
